Where do I start from? This is our final bootcamp project🥺. I almost can’t believe it. It's been six weeksssss😱, time does fly.

I’d like to say a big well done to my teammates, especially the active ones; Zaina, Elizabeth, Ayodeji, Ayobami, Boluwatife, Blessing and Busayo (including me too, Oluwanifemi). Thank you for always having each other's back in this project.

With that said, this might likely be our final Hashnode documentation as a team, as we've completed all our 6 portfolio projects for the boot camp. It has truly been amazing.

Once again, we are a team of 8 active individuals working together to build our portfolio as digital marketers under the Side Hustle internship. The side hustle portfolio boot camp is a 6-week program where interns work on 6 projects handling each project per week. We were asked to make a documentation of all we do on Hashnode which we've been doing for the past five weeks.

The final week’s task was to:

Create an ad campaign structure on Facebook and Google for the launch of a startup in one of the following industries:

  1. Health industry
  2. Fintech industry
  3. Education sector
  4. Food Industry
  5. Sports Industry

The startup has total marketing spend of N1,000,000 And is trying to reach 50k users in West Africa.

Let’s jump in to the work process:

My team chose to work on the health industry using a poll. (We almost regretted this decision because we needed creative ideas for this project and it didn’t look like we’d see enough for the health sector but trust my teammates to make it work😉) We came up with a start-up that provides get well-soon packages and health consultations.

The team lead helped in ensuring we made research about the task. She even made it easier by breaking the task in fragments for different team members so it would be easier to understand.

We also had discussions about the necessary things like what an Ad entails, the ad set, Ad campaign structures.

We concluded on naming the start up “Medifix” and we discussed on the target audience and the allocation of budget for the Facebook Ads and Google Ads

As we were discussing all these on a call, the network started misbehaving, ah, it was serious trouble so we switched to texting.

We finished the discussion and the team lead collated all and arranged it in a presentation file. And that comes to the end of our final task

I just want to say kudos to all the team members, thank you for the cooperation ❤️. The collaboration and understanding was amazing. God bless you all. It's been a great team work.

PS: I learnt a lesson this week, and that's to always ask for help when you need it. My team got stuck when we needed to take some certain decisions concerning this project, so the team lead reached out to some other team leads for help and we got the help, which helped us move forward in this project.

We Indeed rise by lifting others

Thank you💪

I'd also like to say a big thank you to all our readers🥺, you all are the real MVPs.
